What a wonderful thing! sweet almond breadIt's delicious and perfect for breakfast. It looks like brioche bread, but it's not made with butter. What it does have is an egg and a little olive oil.

In baking the apple It practically melts and when we take it, it seems like we have put it cream to the bread.

And it doesn't take too long to prepare. For the rising, 45 minutes was enough. Add to that another 35 or 40 minutes of baking.

If you want the crust to be crispy, you'll need to keep it in the oven for a few more minutes.

Ingredients

  • 100 g of almonds with skin
  • 1 apple, peeled and chopped
  • 120 g of milk and a little more to paint the surface
  • 15 g of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • 25 g of sugar
  • 15 g fresh baker's yeast
  • 290 g flour
  • A little bit of salt
  • Icing sugar for the surface

Preparation

  1. We put the almonds in the glass and chop them, programming them. 4 seconds, speed 5.

    We put them in a bowl and set them aside.

  2. Now we put the milk, yeast, oil, egg and sugar in the mixing bowl. We program 2 minutes, 37º, speed 2.

  3. We add the flour and the salt. We program 30 seconds, spike speed.

  4. Add the almonds and the peeled and chopped apple. Program 30 seconds, spike speed.

  5. We place our dough on the counter and, using a little flour, knead it a little more. We want all the ingredients to be well combined.

  6. We give our bread an elongated shape and place it on a baking tray covered with baking paper.

  7. We let it rise for about 45 minutes.

  8. Bake at 180º (preheated oven) for approximately 35 minutes.

  9. Once out of the oven, let it cool on a wire rack. When it's completely cool, use a sieve to dust the surface with powdered sugar.
