Tangerine cookies

Today we are going to do mandarin cookiesThey contain both the skin of this fruit and the juice and are very tasty.

They are butter cookies that we will decorate with a hazelnut in the center and a little moistened sugar.

Prepare them together with a hot chocolate and you will have the perfect snack for this Sunday.

Simple cookies made with butter and a tangerine.

Ingredients

  • 100 g cold butter, cut into pieces
  • 80 g sugar (plus a couple more tablespoons for the surface of the cookies)
  • 260 g flour
  • 1 egg
  • A tangerine (skin and juice)
  • A pinch of salt
  • About 35 hazelnuts

Preparation

  1. We put the butter, the 80 g of sugar, the flour, the egg, the tangerine peel, the tangerine juice and the salt in the glass. We program 20 seconds, speed 5.

  2. We prepare a couple of baking trays by covering them with baking paper.

  3. We form small balls, slightly smaller than a walnut, and place them on the baking trays.

  4. We crush them lightly with our hands and place a hazelnut in the center of each cookie.

  5. We sprinkle moistened sugar on the surface.

  6. Bake at 180º (preheated oven) for approximately 15 minutes.
