Do you want to know more about the cream of lentils and carrots?
To make this recipe you can use Pot lentils already cooked or cook them in the Thermomix. This will take a little longer but you will ensure total control over your diet.
If you opt for the second option, I recommend that you use brown lentils that cook quickly. Another option is coral lentils which, in addition to being also very fast, will give you an extra color.
Si you don't have vegetable broth you can use the same amount of water with a tablespoon of concentrated vegetable stock paste o powdered. I use these alternatives a lot, especially when the recipe already includes vegetables.
Turmeric is not mandatory but I recommend its use because it has some anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties excellent.
Remember that to enhance the properties of turmeric you have to accompany it with fat and pepper. In this case we have used olive oil and black pepper which also goes very well with the recipe.
You can also add a little bit of curry. It will give you a different flavor but also very interesting.
With this cream of lentils and carrots, a salad in the center and some zucchini meatballs or unos fish nuggets you will have a food or dinner most complete.
This recipe keeps well in the fridge for 5 days and can also be frozen.

Hello, I find this recipe interesting but I like to cook lentils, how long should I add?
Thank you
Hi Reme:
Well, it depends a bit on the type of lentils you use and if you put them to soak or not.
To give you an idea, I use brown lentils, I let them soak for an hour and in 35 minutes I have them ready.
Regards!!
