Today I present you a humble and simple dish to whom I have a lot of affection. My husband's family is from Orense and whenever we go there, the Grandma Julia has prepared a broth like this. Each time you use a different vegetable depending on the season, they can be turnip greens or, in this case, green beans. This summer I asked him for the recipe for this delicious broth and here it is, adapted to the thermomix.
It is true that it will never taste exactly the same, because she has the "squid" (as she calls the pots) to the fire for at least 3 hours and her hand and affection can never be replaced by the butterfly of the thermomix. But I assure you that it is a very good adaptation for those of us who do not have so much time to cook right now.
The result, a soft, nutritious broth with a delicious flavor, perfect for these cool, rainy days. The potato almost melts during cooking, providing a wonderful texture to the broth.
