I wanted to show you a new version of Cooked croquettes.
How do you do them at home? In Thermorecetas we already have a published recipe. Today I propose this other one with the odd difference: I substitute butter for oilPart of the liquid I use is stew broth and, why not, I add the occasional chickpea.
It took a little while to make the dough. What will take us the longest is give shape. In this case, they are balls, do you dare to try these delicious cooked croquettes?
Cooked balls or croquettes
Some very easy cooked croquettes with our Thermomix. With oil instead of butter, chickpeas and a little broth ... irresistible!

Yummy, thanks for the Ascen recipe.
Thanks to you ๐ I'm glad you liked them.
A kiss!
The dough for the croquettes is very good, the only thing I think is that the step where you put the flour with 2 minutes I think is not enough ... the croquettes tasted like raw flour ... next time I will try increasing the time in step 3.
Thanks for your comment. Yes, a little longer will avoid that taste. Also make sure that the flour doesn't get on the blades.
A hug!
The amounts are not right. It's too much milk or too much broth. The bechamel does not bind. You can put recipes without having tried them before. Dedicate yourself to something else, mona
Dear Paco,
This recipe is more than proven. But don't be discouraged and keep practicing.
A greeting!
I made them with water instead of broth, and of course they didn't come out very tasty. Any advice?
For next time use broth, without hesitation. And to replace it with something ... always better with milk ๐
A hug!
I have loved it, they have left me rich. I didn't have enough and I compensated it with bacon, the only thing that when I fry them, some of them open up and remain hollow ... I always spend not only with your recipe, why does that happen?
Hi Rachel,
How nice that you liked them :) About fryingโฆ they usually open when the oil is not too hot. Next time, try frying them with plenty of oil, making sure that it is very hot (that when you put the first croquette, a lot of bubbles will appear around it). And take a few in each batch so that the temperature does not drop. Let's see if they look perfect on you ๐
Thanks for following us!
A hug
I just made the dough and it looks very good as well as very thick that they are great to roll it up.I will tell you how it tastes when I try it, I keep your recipe because I was looking for a recipe without butter and it seemed great to me, thank you
Hi Mada,
How were the croquettes? Did you like them?
A hug!
Delicious, the best
Thanks, Susana !! ๐
Kisses!
I made them only with milk, without broth. Perfect I keep the recipe. Thanks!
Thanks to you, Isa. A hug!
Hi there! They have a pint. Today I have tried the recipe and I am giving it with cornstarch to thicken it ??. I have made it as is, what could have gone wrong?
You may have to see the temperature of the milk ... maybe it was too cold and they needed more time to cook. In any case, once the dough cools, it becomes thicker.
A hug!
