The plum cake is a perfect idea to make a very quick cake. We have made this recipe with our beloved Thermomix, since it has the possibility of making our lives much easier while we can do other tasks.
With the robot it is easy, since once you get the hang of it, you can develop biscuits simply and without stopping. It has the advantage that you will always have ideas on hand to have breakfast with. premium ingredients.
It is made with first-hand and simple ingredients… flour, eggs and sugar. But it has a special addition, cocoa powder and candied fruit. If you can't find this fruit, don't worry, you can add dried fruits that combine wonderfully.

Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 130 g of sugar
- 120 g of wheat flour + 2 tablespoons of flour
- 65 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 70 g of colorful candied fruits, cut into pieces and coated in flour
- 1 spoonful of butter
- 2 tablespoons of powder sugar

We prepare a plum cake type mold about 25 cm long. We spread it with butter and sprinkle a tablespoon of flour on its surface. We shake off the rest of the flour. We heat the oven to 200° with heat up and down.
In our Thermomix glass we place the butterfly. Add the 4 eggs and the 130 g of sugar. We schedule it during 6 minutes at 37 ° at speed 4. When it's done, we reschedule 6 minutes, without temperature at speed 4.
The dough will be spongy. We add the rest of the ingredients: the 65 g of cocoa powder, the teaspoon of yeast, the tablespoon of vanilla extract and the 120 g of sifted wheat flour. We program it 6 seconds at speed 3.
We add all the ingredients to the mold. We place the pieces of fruit on top and sink them slightly. We put the plum cake in the oven, in the central part. We will have it baking for about 15 minutes.
When we have it ready we let it cool and unmold it. We decorate it with powdered sugar and serve in portions.
