Carrot and apple cake

1. We clean the carrots and cut them into several large pieces. Clean and peel the skin of the orange. We put everything in the Thermomix glass and program 10 seconds at speed 6. We took out all the mixture and reserved.

2. In the same uncleaned glass, add the 200 g of melted butter and the 400 g of sugar. We schedule it during 20 seconds at speed 3,5.

3. Add 1 egg and program for 50 seconds at speed 3,5. While it is beating, we are adding the other 4 eggs one by one.

4. Add the 300 g of cream cheese and program for 20 seconds at speed 3,5.

5. Add the chopped carrot and orange and program for 20 seconds at speed 3,5.

6. Add the 300 g of wheat flour, 120 g of ground almonds, 15 g of baking powder and the orange juice. We mix everything from top to bottom with a spatula. We program during 30 seconds at speed 3,5. 

7. We lift the lid, we see if it has mixed well and if that is the case we push it with another fly with the spatula. If necessary we reschedule 30 seconds at speed 3,5.

8. We prepare a large rectangular dish. In my case I have lined it with baking paper. Pour the mixture on top and heat the oven to 200 degrees.

9. Peel and cut the apples into thin wedges. We are placing them on top of the cake in a row and well ordered.

10. We put it in the oven with heat up and down and in the center. You have to leave it approximately 1 hour baking. We will know that it is done when we insert a needle and it comes out completely clean. If during baking we observe that it is toasted a lot on its surface, we can cover it with aluminum foil.

11. When we have it ready we let it cool. Finally we cover it with the cake gloss or with the peach jam whipped with a little water.
