Beans with vegetables and sausages

Stews and stews are the best way to get the cold out of your body. That is why this recipe for beans with vegetables and sausages will be very useful, so we will have more recipes with legumes different to be able to change.

To make our beans we have poached and crushed a sauce with the pumpkin. Then we will cook our beans with that base, so they will take on all the flavor and color. To finish we fry the sausage separately, to avoid unnecessary fats.

To prepare this recipe you can start with dried beans, as we have done, and leave them to soak overnight. But if you are in a hurry you can use beans already cooked. In that case you will have to use about 250 grams and cook them for about 20 minutes so that the flavors mix.

In the vegan version of our beans with vegetables and sausage you can use vegan sausages. It is a good alternative and the dish is just as delicious.

I would like to know how the times vary if I use beans already cooked, instead of 30 + 15 minutes would it be 20 minutes in total? And are they no longer scared?

      Hi Azuki:

using already cooked beans does not require such a long cooking. At point 5, add the rinsed and well drained beans. Pour quality water to cover the beans. Do not overdo it because they will be very soupy. Cook only for 15 minutes and skip point 6. And follow the recipe to the end.

      Kisses!!

I take advantage of the fact that there is still no answer to add another question: what has the stew sprinkled on in the photo? Greetings.

      Hello again Azuki:

As the recipe indicates, it is chopped parsley. Although it also remains with dehydrated basil.

      Kisses!!

Hello, I would like to know if to make the recipe for four people, apart from doubling the ingredients, I also have to double the cooking times.

      Hello Vero:

Extend the times in steps 1, 2, 3, and 4 by about two minutes.

With the beans you will have to go looking until they are tender. The quantity and quality of them do not influence so much.

      Kisses!!
