This cake arose thanks to a recipe that I saw in the Thermomixยฎ magazine. The original recipe was made with peanuts but I have changed them for Cashews, thinking especially of my husband who loves them.
The good thing about being a large family is that, when you put a dessert on the table, in less than 5 minutes it disappears. And this time was not the exception. They really liked the contrast of the sweet with the dried fruit.
Of course, be very careful allergic to nuts, because this cake is totally prohibited.
Cashew cake
If you are a cashew nut lover ... why not make a sponge cake to enjoy its flavor?

What a good idea, I love the contrast that sweet and a little salty.
Well, then put the cashews with salt, because it gives a touch of sweet and very rich salty.
Hello, congratulations first of all because your website is great and I love it, I am extremely hooked. The question I wanted to ask you this time is about cashews, what if they are salty ??? I have not seen them without salt, could it be done the same? can you do something to remove the salt ??.
thank you very much
Adela, this cake was actually taken from a thermomix magazine and it was peanut cake. In the recipe I said that they were without salt, that's why I specified it in the ingredients. My cashews had salt, and we liked the touch but I thought about washing them with water and drying them next time.
If you dare, tell us how are you?
All the best
The cashew cake has no flour? Thanks for all the recipes you give us.
It does not contain flour, that is why it is suitable for celiacs but not for intolerant to nuts.
thanks, it's great!
