Orange and cream sponge cake in Thermomix

We now have another sweet to add to our repertoire. It's a orange cake which is made with a single orange juice. We'll be using the whole orange, so it's important to wash it well. Of course, we'll be cutting it into pieces to put it in the glass.

We will need 100 grams of dough for the dough liquid creamAlso butter and oil. I know these are a lot of fatty ingredients, but you'll see that the amount we'll use of each one won't be too much.

The result is a cake very juicy And, of course, with a delicious orange flavor. Would you like to try it?

Ingredients

• 130 g of sugar and a little more for the surface
• An orange from organic farming juice, very well washed
• 3 eggs
• 60 butter g
• 30 g of sunflower oil
• 90 g of liquid cream for cooking
• 240 g flour
• 1 envelope of baking yeast
• A pinch of salt
• Some almonds for decoration

Preparation

1. We preheat the oven to 180º and prepare our mold by covering it with baking paper.

2. We put 130 grams of sugar, the orange pieces (with the peel) and the eggs in the mixing bowl. We program 3 minutes, 37º, speed 5.

3. Add the butter, sunflower oil, and cream. Program 5 seconds, speed 4.

4. Add the flour, yeast and salt. We program 15 seconds, speed 4.

5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Level the surface with a spatula and sprinkle some almonds on top. Sprinkle with a little sugar.

6. We bake at 180 g for approximately 40 minutes.

7. Once out of the oven, we unmold it, let it cool, and… ready!

Notes

To slightly reduce calories, we can replace the liquid cream with yogurt.
