These cookies for the All Souls Day They are inspired by a traditional Italian sweet typical of this time of year: the Fave dei Morti, originally made with almonds.
In my version, I have substituted the almonds with hazelnuts and walnutsAnd I assure you they are just as delicious — with a more intense flavor and a rustic touch that combines perfectly with the cinnamon and orange zest.
The dough uses very few ingredients: flour, a little egg, 15 grams of butter, and that unmistakable aroma of spices and citrus. small, crispy cookies, perfect to accompany a coffee or an infusion on autumn afternoons.
If you have a little time, don't hesitate to prepare them: with the Thermomix they are made in a moment, and the aroma they leave in the house is wonderful.
