Artichoke Dip

Those of you who follow us daily (there are many of you) will already know that we love appetizers. Yes, we cannot deny it. We love the dishes that can be shared while we talk and enjoy a good wine or beer.

Appetizers are not synonymous with excess nor do they have to be caloric. So have no regrets when it comes to enjoying this artichoke dip.

A dip, like a mousse or a pate, is intended to be served with crunchy vegetables or crackers. The contrast between smooth and crunchy texture is perfect and almost infinite combinations.

You can prepare the artichoke dip for peck while watching a movie or for a casual dinner with friends and family. Although you do not need any excuse to prepare it!

The artichoke dip is an excellent appetizer to serve at an informal dinner with friends or family.

Ingredients

• 200 g canned artichoke hearts
• 15 g olive oil
• 50 g onion
• 1 garlic clove
• 100 g cheese spread
• 50 g of cream for cooking
• 2 chopped sprigs of chives.
• Salt and white pepper
• Whole sprigs of chives for garnish (optional)

Music

1. We put the artichoke hearts to drain.

2. Meanwhile, we chop the onion and garlic, both peeled. We bite them programming 3 seconds, speed 4. We lower the pieces, add the oil and fry for 5 minutes, 100º, speed 2.

3. After time, we add the artichokes. We program 2 minutes, 100º, speed 2.

4. We let the temperature drop to 80º and add the cheese, the cream, the chopped chives. Season and grind for 30 seconds, speed 5.

5. If necessary, add salt and pepper. We remove some wide-mouthed bowls where diners can spread their cookies, toast or vegetables.

6. We finish decorating with the rest of the whole sprigs of chives and some saltines.
